"I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me."

(Galatians 2:20)

When we surrender to Christ, something profound happens: we are no longer defined by who we were. The old life, with all its failures, regrets, and struggles, has been crucified with Christ. That doesn’t mean we forget our past, but it does mean we are no longer bound by it.

Paul reminds us that we are not just trying to be “better” versions of ourselves. We are made new. The person we were before Christ, the one weighed down by sin, shame, and self-reliance, is gone. Now, Christ lives in us.

This doesn’t mean life is suddenly easy. We still live in the flesh, still face struggles, and still have days where we feel weak. But we no longer have to fight alone. We live by faith. We rely on Christ’s strength instead of our own. His grace empowers us to walk in freedom, knowing that we are fully loved, fully forgiven, and fully His.

If you’ve been trying to do this on your own, you don’t have to anymore. Let go of striving and step into the life Christ is living through you. You are not who you used to be—He is making you new.

Are you still holding onto your old identity, or are you embracing the new life Christ has given you? How can you walk by faith instead of striving in your own strength?

Jesus, I thank You that I have been crucified with You and that my old life no longer defines me. Help me to truly live by faith, trusting in You rather than relying on my own strength. Fill me with Your Spirit, and let my life reflect Your grace and love. In Your name, Amen.

"In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our wrongdoings, according to the riches of His grace."

(Ephesians 1:7)

ree

For many of us, the weight of past mistakes can feel unbearable. Guilt and shame whisper that we are too broken, too far gone, or unworthy of a fresh start. But today’s verse reminds us of the life-changing truth: in Christ, we are redeemed.

Redemption means to buy back or set free. Through His sacrifice, Jesus paid the price for our sins—not just the small ones, but every failure, every regret, and every moment we wish we could undo. His blood covered it all.

And this forgiveness is not limited or conditional—it is given according to the riches of His grace. God’s grace is not scarce. It is abundant, overflowing, and more than enough to cover every sin, every mistake, and every weakness.

If you have been struggling with shame, it’s time to let it go. Jesus didn’t die so that we would live in condemnation—He died to set us free. You don’t have to earn His forgiveness; it has already been given to you.

No matter what your past holds, your future is secure in Christ. You are redeemed. You are forgiven. You are free.

Are you still holding onto guilt from your past? How can you step into the freedom of God’s grace today?

Jesus, I thank You for the redemption I have in You. I confess that sometimes I struggle to fully accept Your forgiveness. Help me to let go of my past and walk in the freedom that Your grace provides. Thank You for loving me, for forgiving me, and for calling me Your own. Amen.

"The LORD your God is in your midst, A victorious warrior, He will rejoice over you with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.

(Zephaniah 3:17)

ree

Do you truly believe that God delights in you?

For many, it’s hard to imagine God rejoicing over us. We might struggle with feelings of shame, regret, or unworthiness. We may believe in His love in a general sense, but accepting His joy and delight in us feels much harder.

But Zephaniah 3:17 paints a powerful picture of God’s heart. He is not distant or indifferent—He is in our midst, actively working, loving, and fighting for us. He is a victorious warrior, not only defeating the battles around us but also the ones within us.

And here’s the most beautiful part: God doesn’t just tolerate us—He rejoices over us! He sings over us with joy, not because of what we have done, but because of who He is. His love is not based on our performance; it is rooted in His character. Even when we feel unworthy, even when we struggle, He remains constant in His love.

If you’ve ever felt forgotten, unseen, or unloved, let this verse remind you of the truth: God is with you. He delights in you. He rejoices over you with singing. You don’t have to earn His love—it is already yours.

Do you see yourself as someone God delights in? How would your perspective change if you fully embraced His joy over you?

Lord, it’s hard to believe sometimes that You truly rejoice over me, but I want to accept that truth. Help me to see myself through Your eyes, not through my past or my struggles. Thank You for loving me, for fighting for me, and for singing over me with joy. I find my peace in Your presence. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
