Redemption Through Grace

February 21

"In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our wrongdoings, according to the riches of His grace."

(Ephesians 1:7)

For many of us, the weight of past mistakes can feel unbearable. Guilt and shame whisper that we are too broken, too far gone, or unworthy of a fresh start. But today’s verse reminds us of the life-changing truth: in Christ, we are redeemed.

Redemption means to buy back or set free. Through His sacrifice, Jesus paid the price for our sins—not just the small ones, but every failure, every regret, and every moment we wish we could undo. His blood covered it all.

And this forgiveness is not limited or conditional—it is given according to the riches of His grace. God’s grace is not scarce. It is abundant, overflowing, and more than enough to cover every sin, every mistake, and every weakness.

If you have been struggling with shame, it’s time to let it go. Jesus didn’t die so that we would live in condemnation—He died to set us free. You don’t have to earn His forgiveness; it has already been given to you.

No matter what your past holds, your future is secure in Christ. You are redeemed. You are forgiven. You are free.

Are you still holding onto guilt from your past? How can you step into the freedom of God’s grace today?

Jesus, I thank You for the redemption I have in You. I confess that sometimes I struggle to fully accept Your forgiveness. Help me to let go of my past and walk in the freedom that Your grace provides. Thank You for loving me, for forgiving me, and for calling me Your own. Amen.
