"Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord." – Hebrews 12:14

Are you actively pursuing both peace and holiness in your life?
In our journey of faith, we are called not only to seek personal transformation but also to cultivate peace in our relationships. Today’s verse challenges us to make every effort to live in peace with others while striving for holiness. This is not a passive command—it requires intentional action, humility, and surrender to God’s refining work in us.
Living in peace doesn’t mean avoiding conflict at all costs, nor does it mean compromising truth. It means choosing forgiveness, reconciliation, and love, even when it’s difficult. Likewise, holiness is not about perfection in our own strength but about being set apart for God—allowing Him to shape our hearts, renew our minds, and lead us into righteousness.
Without holiness, we cannot fully see or experience the Lord in our daily lives. When we surrender our will to His, striving for both peace and purity, we reflect His light to those around us and grow deeper in our relationship with Him.
Are there relationships in your life where you need to seek peace? How is God calling you to pursue holiness in your daily walk?
Lord, help me to make every effort to live in peace with those around me. Give me a heart of humility, forgiveness, and grace. Strengthen me to pursue holiness, not in my own strength but through the power of Your Spirit. May my life be a reflection of Your peace and righteousness, drawing me closer to You each day. Amen.
