Return To Me

March 5

"Yet even now," declares the LORD, "Return to Me with all your heart, and with fasting, weeping, and mourning."

(Joel 2:12)

There are moments in life when we feel distant from God, whether because of past mistakes, struggles, or seasons of doubt. Sometimes, we think we have drifted too far or that God would not welcome us back. But His word reminds us of a powerful truth: it is never too late to return to God.

God does not ask for part of our hearts; He asks for all of it. He desires a relationship with us that is real, deep, and honest. Returning to Him is not about saying the right words; it is about bringing our whole selves, our fears, failures, and brokenness before Him in surrender.

True repentance is not just about feeling sorry; it is about turning back to God, knowing that His grace is greater than the sins of our past and present. No matter where you have been, God is calling you back to Him. His arms are open, ready to restore and renew you.

If you have been feeling distant from Him, do not wait. Return to Him today. Lay everything at His feet, and let the peace of Christ heal, restore, and strengthen you.

Are there areas of your heart that you have been holding back from God? What is one step you can take today to return to Him fully?

Father God, I hear Your call to return to You, and I don’t want to hold anything back. I surrender my heart, my struggles, and my past to You. Thank You for Your mercy and grace that welcomes me back every time. Help me to walk closely with You, trusting in Your love. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
