"Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground."
(Psalm 143:10)

In our journey, we often struggle with surrender. We want to follow God, but we also cling to our own plans and desires. Psalm 143:10 is a humble prayer of surrender, asking God to teach us His will and lead us by His Spirit.
David’s words remind us that following God’s will is not automatic—it’s something we must learn. We are not naturally inclined to choose God’s ways over our own, but when we seek Him, He transforms our hearts and gives us a desire to walk in obedience. His Spirit guides us, keeping us on level ground, steady and secure, even when life feels uncertain.
True peace comes when we stop resisting God’s willful intent for our lives and trust His direction. The more we align our hearts with His will, the more we experience the freedom, stability, and purpose that He desires for us. His Spirit doesn’t just point the way—He walks with us, strengthening us for the journey.
Are you actively seeking to learn God’s will, or are you following your own path? How can you invite His Spirit to guide you each day?
God in heaven, teach me to do Your will. I surrender my own plans and desires, trusting that Your way is best. Let Your Spirit lead me on level ground, giving me wisdom, strength, and peace as I follow You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
