"For the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicket will perish."
(Psalm 1:6)

Life presents us with two paths: one that leads to righteousness and life, and another that leads to destruction. Today's verse reminds us that God intimately knows and watches over the path of the righteous. This is not just a passive awareness but an active involvement, guiding, protecting, and sustaining those who choose to follow Him.
Spiritual growth requires intentionality. Choosing the path of righteousness means seeking God daily, walking in obedience to His Word, and allowing Him to shape our desires. It’s not about perfection but about direction—moving toward God rather than away from Him. The alternative, the way of the wicked, may seem easy or appealing at first, but it ultimately leads to emptiness and destruction.
God’s knowledge of the righteous path is not just intellectual; it’s personal and relational. He walks with us, strengthens us, and provides everything we need to stay the course. The more we trust Him, the more we experience His peace and joy. Even when challenges arise, we can have confidence that we are not alone—God is guiding every step.
Are your choices today leading you closer to God or further from Him? How can you commit to staying on the path of righteousness?
Lord, thank You for watching over the path of the righteous. Help me to walk in Your ways and trust in Your guidance. Keep my heart focused on You so that I may avoid the path that leads to destruction. Strengthen me daily as I seek to live for You. In Your name I pray. Amen.
